Absolute gravity measurements in Slovakia

In 2023, the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography (IGiK) started cooperation with the Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava (GKU) in the field of absolute measurements of the acceleration of gravity on the Slovak national gravimetric network.

Scientists from the Remote Sensing Center are experts in the COST program - European Cooperation in Science and Technology

Dr. Maciej Bartold and Marcin Kluczek became experts in the COST European Cooperation in Science and Technology program as part of activity CA22136 PANGEOS (Pan-European Network of Green Deal Agriculture and Forestry Earth Observation Science) of the WG3 and WG4 Working Group. The program will be implemented in 2023-2027.

International trade fair iENA 2023

The international trade fair "Ideas - Inventions - New Products" iENA celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. Over the course of three days, 500 inventions from some 30 countries were presented in Nuremberg. For many inventors, the next steps in innovation development were taken at the fair. The most promising inventions were honored with the prestigious iENA medal.
