Przemysław Dykowski, BEng, PhD
Assistant Professor at the Centre of Geodesy and Geodynamics, specializing in terrestrial gravimetric measurements, particularly in the operation of absolute gravimeters such as A10, quantum gravimeters like AQG, superconducting iGrav, and relative LaCoste & Romberg gravimeters.
He graduated from the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at the Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in Geodesy and Satellite Navigation in 2010. He has been working at IGiK since the beginning of 2011. In May 2019, he obtained a Ph.D. in geodesy from the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at the Warsaw University of Technology based on his dissertation entitled "Analysis of factors influencing the reliability of precise absolute gravity acceleration determinations with the absolute gravimeter A10". He has specialized knowledge in the implementation of relative and absolute gravity acceleration measurements both in laboratory and field conditions. He has experience in planning, conducting, and processing relative and absolute gravimetric measurements on a national and international scale. From 2011 to 2023, he led work related to absolute gravimetric measurements and the modernization of gravimetric networks in Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Poland, and Slovakia.
Since 2016, he is the head of the Research and Calibration Gravimetric Laboratory, and since 2019, the head of the Geodetic-Geophysical Observatory Borowa Góra.
Since 2023, he is a member of the Working Group on Gravimetry at the Consultative Committee for Mass and Related Quantities of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (CCM-WGG) and the Gravimetry Subcommittee of the Technical Committee for Mass (TC-M Subcommittee Gravimetry) of EURAMET.
